YOU CAN COMPETE AS A GROUP OR AS AN INDIVIDUAL!

The causes for the month of March are Compass House and Cheerful Givers.

Read more about what I’m doing to help here.

Each month, the group AND the individual that makes the most difference by supporting my chosen cause of the month will receive a twenty dollar donation to whatever charity you choose. I will also write about you on this blog and link to you permanently on my blogroll, as long as your entire site is family friendly!

Remember to leave me a comment or email me at twentyfivedays(at)gmail(dot)com so that I know you are supporting my cause and eager to win.

 COMPETING AS A GROUP

When classrooms, schools, groups, and organizations help me support my cause of the month, a much bigger difference can be made then when I do service work by myself! Every month, I would like groups from all over the world to help me to promote awareness, raise funds, and support my chosen cause! How can you do this? Here are some ideas, but you might have your own!

  • Host a dress down day, a hat day, pajama day, or other dress-related day. Ask those who take part to contribute $2 or more to our chosen cause.
  • Run a penny drive.
  • Run a bottle drive. I recycle bottles each month to donate to my cause.
  • Do a drive sponsored by our chosen cause. For example, in February, my dad’s office is hosting a pajama and book drive for the Pajama Project!
  • Have a garage sale and donate the proceeds.

If you would like to take part in this month’s contest as a group, leave a comment or email me at twentyfivedays(at)gmail(dot)com and let me know how you would like to help out! Please plan to donate your funds directly to the cause I’m supporting this month. My parents do not want to collect money from anyone.

The group or organization that makes the most difference each month will receive a $20 dollar donation from me to any charity of that group’s choice. I will also write entries about you here as well and add you to my blogroll permanently, if you have a site or blog.

The winner of my first contest was Mr. Jethro Jones’s classroom. He won an extra special prize, thanks to Susan at Toddler Planet. You can read about how they won RIGHT HERE!

COMPETING AS AN INDIVIDUAL

The whole reason why I started my blog was to see if one kid could make a difference. I really believe that even if you are just one person, you can make a difference too. The person who supports my chosen cause of the month best each month will also receive a $20 charitable donation to the charity of your choice. I will also link to you on my blogroll if your site is family friendly!
